Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the U.S. for over ten years. She was a member and was captain of the US Olympic Female Gymnastics Women's Team, Final Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). At the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals for team and floor competitions and bronze medal in the balance beam. In 2012 she was the first American athlete to achieve the most medals in the Olympics. The gold medal was hers in the team event during the 2016 Olympics that was her as well as Gabby Douglas the first Americans to have back-to-back golds. The silver medals she won came from the floor-based individual and all-around competitions. The break was for three years between each Olympics from gymnastics competition. Additionally, she was part of the gold medal winning American team at two World Championships. When she was just 2 when she started to study gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor exercises. Aly is a member of her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. She is planning to pursue the field of fashion, and hopes to broaden her signature line of leotards and socks in future. Fierce - a novel she's writing, will be released this year.
